June 20, 2011: We are now looking for gift bag pick up locations. If you have any suggestions, let us know. If the location qualifies, they can actually be one of our locations where our gift bag recipients will go to pick up the gift bags. Cool? Great way to drive traffic to a location.

She says her clients are asking for brighter, bolder “sunnier” pieces around the face. The haircolor “wheel” is turning as clients enthusiastically embrace Spring!

Madison & Mulholland is going through interesting changes. Right now we are working with Cannes International Film Festival’s American Pavilion. Imagine 150 American film students running around Cannes with your branded t-shirts, shoes? Amazing as the world’s press, film producers, studios, directors and celebs all hang out there. Personally, I’ve been to Cannes 8 years in a row. It doesn’t get any sexier than strolling along the red carpet up to the Grand Palais for a premiere.

Oh–and Robyn Love of Los Angeles won our gift bag this month!

What’s Next? Hampton Gifting begins again Memorial Day weekend New Twist: we will be collecting the cell phone and emails of anyone who wants our gift bags. A big price to pay? Clearly not. Text Messaging anyone? 97% Opens. We can show you how to use this to your advantage.

NEW TRENDS: I have now turned into a reporter, (from TV to film to gift bags and sponsorships)—Love finding about new trends. This one: Hair Colorist Artist (actually she’s part chemist, part artist and mostly brilliant), Beth Minardi--on her way to Chicago to receive the Beauty Icon of the Year award for “Excellence in Hair Color Artistry” by the Professional Beauty Association.

Today she reports A New Trend for Spring! “Seems that Red is red-hot again! Two successful career women… with one thing in mind: MAKE ME A REDHEAD! Will create ten fabulous shades of hair color on ten gorgeous models…. Will report from backstage!” –(can’t wait for those photos)

On Sunday night Beth will be honored with the Beauty Icon of the Year Award presented from the Professional Beauty Association “Excellence in Hair Color Artistry”. GALA Event at Rosemont Center in Chicago. Congrats Beth!

What an amazing week, just finished Author101University. Amazing people and I am looking forward to starting my next class. “How to Get Paid Before You Go On Stage”- for those who missed my debut stage appearance.–all I can say is that I could not have been in better company. The love and the respect that permeated the room thank you to all! Rick & Robbie Frishman & Audrey Hagen, (& Brian!) Tom Antion, Craig Duswalt, Daniel Hall, Jeff Riviera-and the list goes on!

Weird—Just heard that James Malinchak- is now doing gift bags. Should I be flattered? Hmmmmm…. Wonder where he came up with that idea? After detailing the business to him for the past year… including all the nuances of the business, he is finally understanding how product placement works! I hope he follows through!

Can’t wait as I will be speaking at Craig Duswalt’s this week.
