Bari J

Bari J. (the J. is for Jill, her middle name) is Bari Ackerman, a designer in the San Francisco Bay Area. Bari has been designing accessories since 2000, with most designs being sold at local boutiques. In early 2005 Bari started creating handbags ... just to wear herself.

But not for long. The more people who saw them, the more demand grew. The designs that she created (originally drawn out on freezer paper) had to be copied and sent out to local seamstresses for
production.

Always on the lookout for special and unique items to wear herself, Bari intends to keep her bags a handmade product... therefore maintaining the quality and individuality of the handbags.
